Ruchu - Kenya

This coffee comes from the central highlands of Murang'a County, Kenya, and was grown at an altitude of 1650 meters. Smallholders belonging to the Ruchu Gacharage Farmers' Cooperative Society produce the coffee, which is then fully washed at the Ruchu Washing Station. First, the coffee is pulped, then fermented for 24-48 hours in tanks, subsequently washed completely to remove all residue, and finally dried for 7-15 days on raised drying beds.
