Karani

The coffee „Karani“ comes from the fertile highlands of the Kirinyaga district in Kenya, where rich volcanic soils, the high altitude and a favourable climate create ideal growing conditions. This washed coffee is grown by smallholders as part of the Kabare Farmers’ Cooperative Society and comprises the varieties SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11 and Batian. The coffee is carefully hand-picked and traditionally processed using water from the Ragati River. The flavour profile features the sweetness of cherry, zesty green apple and creamy vanilla, typical of Kenyan coffees.
